Dear Brothers in Christ:
I have the good fortune to be able to address myself to you with the goal of communicating to you that the Buenos Aires Mission of the Autonomous Orthodox Metropolia of Western Europe and the Americas has just placed on line a web site entirely in Spanish. Its name is PRO-ORTODOXIA en Español, and its address is: http://www.geocities.com/pro_ortodoxia/. This web site is one oriented to providing information on the Orthodox Church in the fullness of its life, and also on the Oriental Churches (pre-Chalcedonian) and the Byzantine Catholic Churches, or those more commonly known under the term of Uniate Churches. The idea of the site is to offer a very ample panorama of the Orthodox World and of Eastern Christianity in general, without (for all that) confusing the Orthodox Churches which those which are not. This site is designed for those Orthodox who are Spanish-speaking and who cannot have access to information which, for the most part, is found published in English.
It is really our hope, as also that of Vladika Hilarion--Exarch for South America--that you enjoy these texts and images, and that you derive from them the greatest possible advantage, intellectually as well as spiritually.
Also, I am forwarding this e-mail in appreciation of the generous collaboration
of Father Aidan (Keller), whom I value as an excellent priest and a very
good friend, as also that of the whole Community in Austin, who have demonstrated
great charity and Christian patience during my stay during the previous
year in Austin, Texas. Never will I forget the care that was extended to
me when suddenly I became ill in the Monastery, on the Archbishop's part
as well as the Monks', as also on the part of the people of the parish.

Tengo la dicha de poder dirigirme a ustedes con el propósito de comunicarles que la Misión de Buenos Aires de la Metrópolis Ortodoxa Autónoma de Europa Occidental y las Américas acaba de poner en línea un sitio web totalmente en castellano, su nombre es PRO-ORTODOXIA en Español, y su dirección es: http://www.pro-ortodoxia.f2s.com. Se trata de un Sitio Web orientado a brindar información sobre la Iglesia Ortodoxa en su conjunto, y también sobre las Iglesias Orientales (pre-calcedónicas) y las Iglesias Católicas Bizantinas o mas comunmente conocidas bajo el término de Iglesias Uniatas. La idea del Sitio es ofrecer un panorama muy amplio sobre el Mundo Ortodoxo y sobre la cristiandad oriental en general, sin por eso confundir a las Iglesias Ortodoxas con aquellas que no lo son. Este sitio fue confeccionado para aquellos ortodoxos de habla castellana que no pueden acceder a información que en su gran mayoría se halla publicada en inglés.
Realmente es nuestro deseo, así como también el de Vladika Hilarión - Exarca para América del Sur - que disfruten de estos textos e imágenes, y que saquen de ellos el mayor provecho posible, tanto intelectual como espiritualmente.
También aprovecho este e-mail para agradecer la generosa colaboración del Padre Aidan Keller, al cual aprecio como excelente sacerdote y un muy buen amigo así también como el de toda la Comunidad de Austin, quienes han demostrado una gran caridad y paciencia cristiana durante mi estadía durante el año anterior en Austin, Texas. Nunca olvidaré el cuidado que me fue brindado cuando enfermé repentinamente en el Monasterio, tanto por el Arzobispo y los monjes, como también por la feligresía.
