Visitation Information

The monastery does not have overnight accommodations. Visitors should call ahead before taking the ferry to Vashon Island.

Drive-on ferry from W. Seattle (Faunteroy to the pier), or from Tacoma, Pearl St. to Pt. Defiance Pier. On Vashon Island, follow the signs to Maury Island & the village of Dockton; the monastery is just south of the village.

About the Monastery

All-Merciful Savior Monastery was founded in 1988 on five acres of heavily-forested property. Facilities to house up to twelve monks are under construction. The brotherhood publishes, when funds and time allow, a monastic journal, The Orthodox Beacon . All services are in English. There are two monks in residence.
