Visitation Information

The monastery is located near Moore Lake. Take I-694 to Central Ave. north; Turn right at the light & immediately right again; go 1 block east on Hackmann Avenue to Hathaway Lane, almost to the end of the street. Visitors are welcome at all services.

Overnight guests must contact the abbot one month prior to visit.

About the Monastery

The church was established in 1980 with the blessing of Metropolitan Philaret. The Skete was established in Minneapolis in 1986 with the blessing of Archbishop Alypy of Chicago. Services in English and Slavonic, using the Typicon of the Russian Church according to the Julian Calendar. The monks do Russian/English translations and interpretation.

Daily Compline 7:30PM; Sundays: Vigil 6PM, Nocturnes 8AM, Liturgy 9AM. There are four monks in residence.
