About the Monastery

The Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos Monastery was founded in Miami, Florida on June 7, 1982. In 2003 the monastery was accepted into the OCA. The monastic have since moved to new facilities in rural western North Carolina. There are five monastics and one novice in residence.
