The monastery is currently looking for land on which to build in northern Ohio.

About the Monastery

A blessing for the founding of the monastery was given by Bishop Job of the OCA in September of 1998. This women's monastery under the Omophorion of the Bishop of Chicago and the Midwest is dedicated to a traditional life of prayer and work in accordance with the dogmas and canons of the Orthodox Church and the Normal Statute of the Orthodox Church in America. Once a suitable site is selected and facilities built, candidates are ready to join Mother Mary Ann.
