Added an article to Tidings from St Hilarion Monastery about their new online Gallery of Western Saints. Added the Monastery of the Presentation of Our Lord and Monastery of the Holy Archangels (GOAA) to the directory, more of the rapidly expanding number of new Greek monasteries in the US. After so many years of neglect, the Greek Archdiocese is certainly making up for lost time in transplanting the rich traditions of Mt. Athos on American soil.

Updated St John the Theologian (OCA) in Hiram, Ohio to include directions, and added new information on Theotokos the Living Spring in Dunlap, California. I have finished making this site more accessible for individuals with disabilities. The changes are generally cosmetic in nature, to the underlying HTML coding, and don't change the overall appearance of the site.
I have also taken the Web Interoperability Pledge, to adhere to current HTML standards as promulgated by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This is a web-wide attempt to make vendors adhere to open standards and discourage proprietary extensions.

Check out the Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST) , a not-for-profit organization to expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities through innovative computer technology.

Updated information for the All-Merciful Savior. I also have changed the directory format to better accommodate the growing number of monasteries with their own web pages and added a page that puts all the online monasteries that I know about in one place.
I have not added a noteworthy items page because response to the idea has been underwhelming. I'm still looking for contacts willing to pass on timely information from any monasteries. If you think this would be a valuable feature and you are able to help, let me know. I will be happy to include "one-time" announcements for monasteries anytime.

Updated the information for Holy Trinity and Holy Cross monasteries, and added some links related to Metropolitan Hierotheos on my Related Links page. I also added a feature from the people at NetMind that will let you know by email when I update this site.
I'm thinking of adding a new page about particularly newsworthy items such as upcoming pilgrimages, seminars, or other special events or appeals for various monasteries, but I need help. If you know of such things, PLEASE pass them on and I will get them on the page as quickly as I can.

I have finally created my "Related Links" page. I especially wanted to return the favor to people who were nice enough to include links to my page. Still playing with the layout. Now I'm using less "Tables". I wasn't happy with the way things looked and I was afraid "text-only" readers might have a problem. This format is less fancy, but more compact, and it should make for easier navigation through the site.

What's new to this page is that I've added a "What's New" to this page! I have also changed the format slightly. I may soon add a "related links" page but I want to pray and think about it first.
I'm keeping the format overall simple, despite the temptation to follow suit with all the flashy pages around, for three reasons:
1. I do not want to do anything that detracts from the topic itself, Orthodox Monasteries.
2. I want as many different browsers as possible to easily access this information, even over slow modems.
3. Nobody has complained about the format so far
