From Madison: Loop 12-18 W, to US 14 West to Gotham; Wis 60 West toward Wauzeka; at junction of US61 & Wis 60, continue straight on Marietta Valley Rd. 2 mi; soft left on Spring Valley Rd. 2 mi.; right on Wood Dale Lane; 50 feet to 1st drive on right.

There are simple quarters for both male and female visitors in separate areas. It would be best to call 1-800-814-2667 to find out more about best times to visit and to address any other concerns that you may have.

About the Monastery

St Isaac Skete is small and quite rustic. They have a chapel, a bookstore gift shop, and also a small hospitality center. Services in English. The very rural community at Boscobel has grown into a mission of some 70 souls (half are children), a skete, a convent, a grade school, and an icon factory. The monastery sells an extensive assortment of icons and all are laminated on wood, of different sizes. Custom orders (to fit) are possible also. There are four monks in residence.
