Visitors are welcome, but should call ahead well in advance. There are separate rooms and bathroom facilities for up to three people. Visits are generally limited to two days (weekends). The Holy Mystery of Communion is reserved for Orthodox Christians who have been baptized and chrismated into the Orthodox Faith. Non-Orthodox visitors may partake of the non-consecreated Holy Bread and the festal annointing with oil. The Holy Mystery of Confession is also reserved for Orthodox Christians. All visitors may request prayers for the health and welfare of friends as well as prayers for the deceased.

St Elijah monastery has been in existence for over 20 years, supporting mission work in Brazil and Paraguay as well as a local parish. The monastery has an extensive library and has translated music from Ukrainian and Slavonic for use in this country and vice versa for Ukraine. The monastics collect food and clothing for the needy and work with Hospice from time to time.
There is only one monk presently, but the monastery can accommodate five monastics.
